Steve Shuhet, Chief Executive Officer and Founder

As Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder, Steve Shuhet leads the company’s overall strategic direction to develop and deliver world-class technology products & services for emerging technology providers to a large buyer community. He has established long-standing relationships and serves as a trusted advisor to hundreds of technology buyers – from IT Managers to CIOs and CTOs. Now a recognized authority on emerging tech sales methodologies, Steve works in partnership with investors, entrepreneurs, and CEOs to help them rapidly grow their companies, from both a sales and industry recognition standpoint. Through proven methodologies, Steve has consistently been able to partner with successful technology vendors  and build repeatability for their emerging products & services sales. Michael Rowan, Chief Technology Officer

As Chief Technology Officer, Michael Rowan works with Cresting Wave's buyer community as well as it's innovation partners. He maintains an in depth understanding of the requirements within our buyer community. He leverages that knowledge to forge partnerships with innovative companies that are developing or offering products that uniquely address these requirements. Prior to joining the company, Rowan was the founder of five startup companies, the last two being both venture-backed as well as Cresting Wave clients. Most recently he co-founded and served as CTO to Viridity Software, a leader in the DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) market space, delivering a software-only approach to data-center efficiency. Prior to that, he was a pioneer in the storage market. He founded the first two Continuous Data Protection (CDP) companies, StorageCom (acquired by Mendocino) and Revivio (acquired by Symantec), where he holds twelve patents. He also has a strong background high-availability clustering, having been a partner at CLAM Associates (which became Availant, acquired by Lakeview Technologies). At CLAM, he developed IBM's successful HACMP product line. He began his career as a programmer at the Free Software Foundation. Rowan has been significantly recognized within his community, including winning Boston Business Journal's prestigious 40 Under 40 Award.

Thomas Sienicki, Chief Financial and Operating Officer

Tom has over 18 years of business development experience working with Fortune 1000 companies, as well as with closely held, owner-managed corporations, partnerships, and joint ventures. Since 2002, Tom has been a partner at Bolson & Sienicki, LLC, a boutique tax and financial planning firm catering to Wall Street executives and high net worth individuals. Tom has focused his experience on the needs of start-up entrepreneurial ventures and the planning for the executives who run those ventures. He gained his business footing during his 10 years at Ernst & Young working in the Entrepreneurial Services Division. His previous clients included numerous private companies some of which have been acquired by larger corporations or now operate as public companies. Tom holds an MBA in finance from Seton Hall University, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southern Illinois University. He is a member of the AICPA and is a licensed CPA in New York and New Jersey.

Patrick Bulvanoski, Vice President of Sales

As Vice President of Sales, Patrick is responsible for the overall sales, management and build out of the Cresting Wave sales organization.  For the past 3 years, Patrick has worked with Cresting Wave’s emerging technology companies to deliver products and services to hundreds of technology buyers – from IT Managers to CIOs and CTOs. During his term as Cresting Wave Sales Executive Patrick was responsible for sales to major hedge funds, investment banks, & pharmaceutical companies. Prior to joining the company, Patrick worked as a Business Account Manager at AT&T Mobility. While at AT&T, Patrick was able to double a territory in Midtown Manhattan by consistently winning business over Northeast giant Verizon. In this role, Patrick was selected to service and consult Michael Bloomberg’s voice and data needs for AT&T on a daily basis. Prior to this position,Patrick was the National Account Director at SimulScribe, during which time he helped launch the voice recognition/transcription company. His responsibilities included managing the company’s sales efforts and relationships with strategic clients and partners. Prior, Patrick served within the Verizon Business Unit at Good Technology, Inc. (acquired by Motorola), a leader in the wireless software industry. Key achievements were representing Good at the Boston Data Symposium and negotiating a deal with the Boston Celtics. Patrick holds a Bachelor ofScience degree in Business from Mount Saint Mary’s University. He is a member of the American Marketing Association in Baltimore, New York City and New Jersey.
